West End Diagnostic Imaging (WEDI) was established in 1978. This IHF facility has maintained outstanding high quality private outpatient services at the west end of Toronto. Our office is located on the main floor of a Toronto West Professional center, Ontario, Canada. We provide imaging services to the physicians in High Park, Etobicoke, Bloor West, and surrounding areas. At present, West End Diagnostic Imaging performs General Radiographic services, GI/Fluoroscopy services, Mammography, as well as General Musculo-skeletal, Prostate and Vascular Ultrasound (4 rooms). The facility also provides Transrectal Prostate US (TRUS), TRUS-guided prostate biopsies, and hysterosonograms. The clinic US is on a PACS system and radiography is now digital. The network server will facilitate storage and transfer of the digital CR (computed radiography) and GI images along with US images to an existing PACS system. This is terrible place. The secretary is very rude. She is one of the most unwelcoming cold people I have ever met. I had one technicien who was kind the other woman did her job wrong then complained to me when she had to work through lunch when I came back and had to muss a day of work myself. Horrible experience!
I just had my first mammogram. I was very nervous. The technician at this clinic, Jenny, was very soothing. She took her time and explained everything about the procedure. She made me feel much calmer, and comfortable. It really turned out not to be so bad. I would recommend going to this clinic and asking of Jenny if you are nervous about having a mammogram.
I have been taking my family here for years for all their x-rays and ultrasounds.
I find the receptionists pleasant and the technicians are experienced and efficient!
I will continue to come here because of the friendly service and convenient location. There is less wait time here compared to other places.
There is a blood lab in the same building, too!
Brutal place, the asian lady doing my mothers X-ray was RUTHLESS, she was pushing my mother and being pretty aggressive with here while I was standing there trying to help my sixty year old mother that is deaf. the way she spoke to me or my mother was not in a nice manner; the lady was kicking her foot for them to be moved after she tells her not to move it from a certain position. I AM DISGUSTED BEYOND BELIEF, RUTHLESS TOWARDS MY MOTHER!!
