Probably the most opulent spa in Vancouver right now. Head to the west Hastings and you'll be met by 2 really friendly hosts at Au Soleil reception. Large men's locker room and private lounge with fresh fruit, tea, water and baked goods..be sure to head out to the deck to take in one of the hot tub spas. I had the hot stone massage for 60 minutes and it was intense and perfectly relaxing. I layed on a spinal bed of hot stones while he placed basalt stones on my torso before even beginning the massage to relax achy muscles...well worth every penny. An appointment gets you FREE valet parking and you can spend the entire day here if you choose... spa, massage, facial, lunch..the choice is yours. I'm a happy camper. Read more

The Heights Laser Centre is in North Burnaby and had bonus Free Parking. I live in New West and it only took about 15 minutes. I felt comfortable as soon as I came into the facility and the staff was very friendly. I had a consultation with Dr. Jaffer and decided to get an eMatrix treatment to help with my aging skin. My dark spots lessened, my skin was firmer and I looked great. I also had Botox for my crow's feet and my forehead wrinkles. My husband did not think I needed treatment, but after he saw the results, he thought I looked terrific. I will continue to go the Heights Laser Centre for all my facial concerns. I am an avid float tank participant and have been to many companies/locations across greater vancouver. What sets "Float Sense" apart is the friendly/helpful staff, how clean and nicely spaced the rooms are, the fully enclosed shower, cleanliness of the rooms and facility itself. The tanks they have are the ones I prefer due to the spaciousness, perfection of water temperature and there are no plumbing like pipes to accidentally kick like other places I have gone to, the tank itself is very clean, neat and comforting while in use. A great offer of *$30 for a 90 minute* is unbeatable, others charge more or similar but less time in the sensory deprivation tank. My experiences in the tank are always incredible, pure relaxation, heals my muscle and joint pains, it even healed up reactions of the skin and I also slightly hallucinated a few times, array of colours and absolute bliss, you feel rejuvenated, inspired, clear minded and when you exit and enter the real world, heavenly like sense of being. As of now, "Float Sense" will be my fairly new location for serenity, I highly recommend everyone to try out the tank and "Sense" is definitely(in my opinion) the best spot to do so.
